At St Francis we deliver an engaging and relevant curriculum which educates the whole child.
At St Francis we offer a variety of learning opportunities for our Children. We know that learning happens best when children are engaged in what they are learning and when they know why they are learning it.
In delivering the New Zealand Curriculum we integrate our Special character and ensure that our school and Gospel values are at the heart of all we do.
We are proud to be a Green Gold Enviro school and take the role of being Kaitiaki of God's creation very seriously. We have a thriving worm farm, several vege gardens and and an active Trees for survival programme. Children learn about how to take care of our waterways, native trees and much more.
Coding and Robotics
We currently have an engaging coding and robotics programme in our Senior class. Children are learning to express their creative talents in an increasingly digital world gaining an appreciation for the work that goes into Electronics, apps and games. Pop in and ask to see some of these creations - You will be impressed!
