Our Special Character

We are blessed to have a rich history of orders who have shaped our faith community. This history includes influences from the Sisters of Mercy, Sisters of St Joseph and of course our Patron Saint St Francis.

At St Francis we celebrate our Faith in a number of ways.

Parish and Mass
We are one community with the St Francis Parish and regularly celebrate weekly Mass together on Wednesday mornings. We also join to celebrate significant feast days and Sunday Mass.

We are supported by our Parish Priest/fire fighter Father Vally as well as Sister Paula and other Parishioners who generously offer their time to help in our classrooms and gardens.

Prayer Assemblies
Each Monday we begin our Week with Prayer Assembly. This is a chance to reflect on Sunday's Gospel, share our school Value for the week and pray together in a number of ways.

Classroom Prayer
Each day children begin their day with Morning Prayer. This is a sacred time when children use song, scripture and a variety of Prayers to encounter Christ.

School and Gospel Values

Putting our Values in to action means doing as Jesus would have us do. Our Values are
Love, Respect, Responsibility and Honesty
 Children learn about the importance of putting these into action each day.
